What the board does

Three things, done properly

📖

Curriculum

A structured Gurukul syllabus — scripture, philosophy, language, worship practice and jyotish — organised into levels a school timetable can actually carry, alongside the school's existing curriculum.

📝

Examinations

Assessments set and marked by the board, not by the school — the same principle every serious examination board runs on, from O Levels to CBSE. A result means the same thing in every affiliated school.

🪙

Certification

Every certificate the board issues carries a QR code and is verifiable at sanatandham.com/verify — instantly, by anyone, without writing to the board.

Qualifications

The SSEB ladder

Three stages, on the pattern every school already understands — a foundation stage, a secondary certificate, and a senior secondary certificate for advanced study.

Stage 1

SSEB Foundation

First contact with the tradition: stories, values, festivals, simple chanting and daily practice. Designed for the primary and middle years.

Stage 2

SSEB Secondary Certificate

The board's O-Level equivalent: scripture studied as text, Sanskrit or a regional language, philosophy in outline, and examined practice.

Stage 3

SSEB Senior Secondary Certificate

The A-Level equivalent: darshana studied in depth, textual work in the original language, and a supervised project in the student's own field — temple service, jyotish, or teaching.

Gurukul in Schools

Global Network of Sanatan Education in Schools

SSEB affiliates schools — not only gurukuls — into one worldwide network teaching the same curriculum and sitting the same examinations. What the network is, what an affiliated school receives, and how affiliation works, on its own page.

A certificate that can be checked is a certificate that counts

Verified online, by anyone

Scan the QR on any SSEB certificate, or type its number at the verification page. The answer comes from the board's own records, not from a photocopy.

One curriculum, one standard

The syllabus lives at the Gurukul and is the same for every affiliated school. Examinations are the board's own, so a distinction earned in one country means exactly what it means in another.
